2010 Message From the President

It has been very gratifying to witness the growth and development of the Blatchly Nature Study Club over the past few years. The membership has grown to over 60 strong and we are have added several new field studies while maintaining our excellent monthly programs.

For 2010 I would like to see both of these trends continue. In particular, I would like to see a bird watching/identification class get underway. This would be an excellent way to promote the club's ideals and improve our recognition within the community. At the same time it could also promote our membership growth.

I would like to challenge all club members to get more involved with club activities and look for ways to promote the organization within the community. I believe this will bring more enjoyment to you, as a club member, and help spread this same enjoyment to others become who choose to become involved.

— Pat Crimans, President
